Dee Pope, yoga instructor

DEE POPE 200-RYT Yoga Instructor

Dee has been inspiring others through movement, health, and wellness since she was 18 years old. Her teaching journey began with energetic fitness classes, including Jazzercise, Step Aerobics, and Spin, before she discovered yoga while living in Seattle.
Immersed in a community where yoga was deeply embraced, Dee developed a passion for the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of the practice. After returning to Ormond Beach, she chose to deepen that connection and become a certified yoga instructor.
Today, Dee creates a safe, creative, and welcoming space where students can cultivate greater mind-body awareness, balance, and overall well-being. Her classes reflect her belief in yoga as a moving meditation and an opportunity to reconnect with yourself both on and off the mat.

Specialties: Yoga • Mindful Movement • Mind-Body Awareness

KATY CUTHILL Yoga Instructor

Katy has been practicing yoga for more than 20 years and has always found it to be a source of peace, balance, and connection. After years of personal practice, she felt called to share yoga with others through teaching.
Believing yoga should be both supportive and accessible, Katy has developed a nurturing teaching style that blends strength, mindfulness, and compassion. Her classes encourage students to explore their potential while honoring where they are in the moment.
Known for creating practices that are both soothing and strengthening, Katy’s students often describe her classes as “sneaky hard”—challenging in all the right ways, yet delivered with a gentleness that leaves them feeling calm, accomplished, and restored.
For Katy, yoga is a moving meditation—an opportunity to build strength, find stillness, and reconnect with yourself one breath at a time.

Specialties: Nurturing Flow • Moving Meditation • Strength & Serenity

Leigh Harris, yoga instructor

LEIGH HARRIS 500-Hour Yoga Instructor

Before moving to Ormond Beach in 2017, Leigh worked with First Responders experiencing PTSD in Tampa, Florida. Her natural ability to put people at ease and create a supportive environment continues to shape the way she approaches her yoga classes today.
Leigh completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2019 and continued her education with an additional 300 hours of teacher training in 2020. She has also completed more than 60 hours of specialized training in Restorative and Yin Yoga.
Leigh brings warmth, compassion, and a calming presence to every class. Her teaching encourages students to slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and experience yoga in a welcoming environment where they can feel comfortable exactly where they are.

Specialties: Restorative Yoga • Yin Yoga • Gentle & Mindful Movement

PARKER COOK 500-Hour Yoga Teacher

Parker’s approach to yoga is rooted in the belief that movement should feel approachable, supportive, and adaptable to the person on the mat. As a 500-Hour Yoga Teacher, she creates classes that encourage students to slow down, connect with their bodies, and explore movement without pressure or expectation.
Her background as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Stretching & Flexibility Coach brings a strong understanding of strength, mobility, and functional movement to her teaching. She uses that knowledge to offer thoughtful modifications and help students find options that work for their individual bodies and experience levels.
Parker especially enjoys creating slower, intentional practices that blend gentle movement, mobility, stretching, and moments of stillness. Whether students come to class to move better, unwind, or simply take an hour for themselves, her goal is to create a welcoming space where they can leave feeling better than when they arrived.

Specialties: Gentle Yoga • Restorative-Inspired Yoga • Mobility & Flexibility

Christy Newsome, yoga instructor

CHRISTY NEWSOME E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher • Yoga Therapy Certificate

Christy recently returned home to Ormond Beach after spending the last 15 years teaching yoga in the Atlanta area. Her experience includes studio and corporate classes, online instruction, teacher training, and continuing education. She is an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher with a certificate in Yoga Therapy and a particular interest in anatomy and how the body moves.
A former competitive gymnast, cheerleader, and diver, Christy originally came to yoga for the physical practice but discovered benefits that extended far beyond strength and flexibility. Her experience shapes a teaching style that balances mindful movement, intentional breath, and physical challenge.
In class, Christy encourages students to let go of ego and meet themselves where they are in each moment. She offers modifications for different experience levels and frequently incorporates props, with an emphasis on awareness, breath, and creating space and freedom in the body rather than chasing a “perfect pose.”

Specialties: Vinyasa Yoga • Anatomy & Mindful Movement • Yoga Therapy
